Thursday, June 11, 2009 When Dreams come True... Many years ago when I am still schooling in Primary school, I had a major changed in life. I met a car accident. It caused me to suffer from skull fractured and blood clogged which nearly traded my life away. Thank God that I was saved and recovered from the accident. I’m still breathing alive, didn’t become retarded, disfigured or even worst become a huge burden to my family. Since then, I always believe in this Chinese proverbs, “Da Nan Bu Si Bi You Hou Fu” means that after suffering from difficult will have a good blessing thereafter. The blessing came. Since after the car accident experience, I already knew what I wanted to do in the future and was inspired to be a financial consultant to touch people lives. I know that deep in my soul, every accident comes with least expecting it and it will cost a lot of issue for the family. It will cause a financial burden when the medical bill incurred a huge amount, the continually living expenses, and worst was the time that needed to spare lot of time to take care of the sick. It was mentally and physically tortured for them. Second blessing came. When I was about to enter the financial industry, the financial crisis was about to arise. I was at the edge of joining AIA. When my auntie knew that I was about to join the financial industry, she told me that she knew someone who is currently working in Prudential and she is from the top agency, Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). I was excited, open to the option and went for the interview. After learning the culture and the future prospect of the company, I was impressed by Peter Tan. His achievement, foresight and principles in life are the things that we should learn from.
